Alexony sign up to Earth Hour

On Saturday 25 March 2017 at 8.30pm, Alexony will join millions across the world in turning off its lights for one hour in a momentous show of support for action on climate change. By joining WWF’s Earth Hour with cities, communities and landmarks across the globe, Alexony will take part in a symbolic action, which is more than just one hour of darkness. We believe this is our opportunity to show world leaders that action to tackle climate change is urgently needed. To show our support, Alexony will be switching off all non-essential lights at East Bridge House, East Street, Colchester CO1 2TX at 8.30pm on Saturday 25 March for one hour. We strongly encourage local communities, businesses and organisations in Colchester to take part in Earth Hour 2017 to show support for action on climate change.

21 years, and we've never looked better!

This week we marked the 21st anniversary of the company's formation with a vintage logo and some serious style

On the 22nd February, Alexony celebrated its 21st anniversary by putting on a bit of a display outside the Town Hall in Colchester.

First formed in 1995, Alexony enjoys an international profile; running events in the UK and as far afield as Singapore. The company now employs more than 25 people in Colchester and London and is growing all the time with some exciting new projects in store for 2016.

In 2016, the company is adopting the theme of Vintage for its year of celebrations, and will be hosting a number of parties and gathering with clients and friends during the year.

To kick things off, Alexony Founder and Managing Director Stephen Alexander cycled through Colchester High Street dressed in a morning suit and bowler hat astride the new company bicycle - a retro Raleigh Superbe. The lovingly restored bicycle was complete with a hand-signed, vintage-style Alexony logo.

The company then met inside the Town Hall to discuss the developments for the coming
12 months; ending the night with dinner and a few cheeky drinks.

Look out for the more announcements on the website and dates for the next parties,
coming soon!
